A visual research that explores the creative potential of human-tracking technology—specifically Mediapipe—within the field of graphic and typographic design. How gesture, motion, and real-time interaction can be reimagined as active tools in the visual creation process.
At the core of the project is a custom hand-tracking tool, programmed to generate visuals through the movement of the user's hands. This real-time interaction allowed us to design a custom typeface built on a dynamic point matrix, where each gesture influences the form of the letters. The final outcome is a series of posters showcasing this typographic system, revealing how motion and code can intersect to create expressive, adaptive visual languages. [Team: Giacomo Garetto]
